I was recently referred to Dr. Bykowsky after having a severe allergic reaction lasting over a week. I've had reactions to food since I was a child but none lasting this long. I went in for the original office visit where we just talked, and I was told I had to wait a month for the histamine response to settle down. I totally understood. Dr. B made me feel like he didn’t want to treat me . I believe I was discriminated against by the color of my skin and weight. Did not felt welcoming when it came to talking about problems. Gave me diagnosis with drawing any blood or giving me allergy test. He stated I was just like the other patients that come about my problems. Dr B tried to put me on medication just for me to take on the first visit without any blood work or allergy test. I will not be coming back to his establishment. I really like Dr. Bykowsky. He is easy to talk to, spends a good amount of time with me, and I have seen a huge improvement in my symptoms. The staff and nurses there are excellent also - efficient, kind, and respectful of my time.
