Here for a convention and was able to check in early. Good location, rooms are fine and property well maintained. Small-ish pool was nice but there are NO shade umbrellas. Big patio area with tables and chairs, but also no shade. Lobby bar area spacious with tables if you choose to eat here, but a bit soulless.
upscale hotel. Welcoming staff, nice bar area and lounge offering small plate food. Entire place was spotless and great ambiance throught. Nice room with everything you would like expect. Close to downtown chappel hill and mins UNC college.many food choices close by.
My family and I stayed here due to the loss of our home from a fire. The entire staff was extremely helpful, courteous, accommodating, and professional. Shannon and Aaleeya even went as far as providing our granddaughter with a birthday gift and free ice-cream to us all. The entire staff from the front desk, manager, associates, restaurant staff, and housekeeping, were phenomenal. They treated us with so much compassion and empathy. I would definitely recommend this location if traveling to the Durham/Chapel Hill area.
I toured this hotels event spaces this afternoon and the hotel representative Aaleeyah did a fantastic job! She was extremely knowledgeable about the potential space setup, capacities, drinks and dining menus, as well as the overall venue. I highly recommend using The Sheraton in Chapel Hill for networking events, weddings, or parties!
