We were ordered to see Dr. Gage through the courts. My husband and I were in a legal battle for full custody for my step-children from their Biological mother. At first she listened to the horrible abuse they were subjected to, but upon meeting with the children's biological mom, our visits changed with her. Her tone was accusatory, began pressing that the children were "obligated" to meet with their mother and her new children because "she was their mother". Pros: Doesn’t have many clients so is easy to schedule appointments on relatively short notice; Has a large selection of unique children’s toys scattered about her office which helps allow children to be more comfortable in an office setting. Cons: Dishonest; Strong tendency towards making arbitrary and egocentric decisions rather than by reviewing data; Concedes to making conflicting decisions but won’t fix them. Essentially a doddering elderly woman on a power trip.
