(2 years in): the entire complex has 2 dryers and 3 washers for laundry. The rest have been broken for years. The lobby also smells like piss, unfortunately. update: we moved out after several years of dealing with cockroaches, dead pigeons, broken elevator and washing machines, flea issues on the entire first floor of the building (fully carpeted), and actual bees coming from the ceiling vents.

Avoid at all cost! Drugs everywhere and people pooping all over the apartment building and walls. It stinks like vomit and maggots.

I'm a graduate student and artist who's lived here since August 2022. It's been a mixed bag. The pros include the lower-than-market-rate rent, the downtown location, the gunky-hipster aestethic of the place, the proximity to good transit, the reasonably-sized units, and the basic-level amenities of the place (water, electricity, etc). There are also a few good people here: neighbors with a sense of community, on-site staff that work to keep us safe and happy, and LWP staff who will actually visit to help resolve issues.
