The ladies who worked at Carnation were awesome with the exception of one nail tech named “Lisa” (plump orange haired lady) who was incredibly rude to me. I thought I found a new nail salon who I could visit on a weekly basis but I was wrong. When it came time for to pay, I gave Lisa nearly a 45% tip and she looked at me like I was handing her a quarter. I got not even a mere “thank you” nothing…I was shocked by her behavior. I had a terrible experience at Carnation Nail Salon. I took my daughter there for her birthday, expecting a nice and relaxing visit, but it turned into something very upsetting. The nail technician completely over-filed her natural nails and cut her cuticles so aggressively that all ten of her fingers ended up bleeding. What’s worse is that I didn’t even realize how bad it was at the salon because they applied a large amount of oil, which seemed to mask the damage at the time.
