My previous primary care provider retired. When I asked him who I should transfer my care to he said to follow up with Dr. Carmen Slavov. He said without a doubt she is the best! This was several years ago and this review is well overdue. She is the best. Dr. Slavov is a nephrologist but I am lucky to have her as my primary care physician. As a physician myself I know the inner workings of medicine. The excellent care I receive from her is not because I am in the medical field. I have been going to Dr. Slovov for about a year and have not had any personal problems with her or staff. I discribe my problem and she seems to hit the nail on the head with treatment or suggestions that she feels may help. I do not feel rushed when I have an appointment and she listens to me, not rushed to get me out of the office. That is very important to me.

Some time back, I had a terrible pain on my back. I called her and explain the symptoms of my pain, she gave me some recommendations of what to do, until I get Physical Therapy. When, I got home, I already had a called from the Physical Therapy Company. This meant that I will not have to wait the 10 days or so, that normally takes to get the paper work to start the treatment. As it turn out it was a sciatica nerve problem. Her quick action probably save me 2 to 3 weeks of extra pain.

she is kind and thoughtful, precise , always trying to take care of my needs . She is been taking care of me for the last 5 years . I have nothing but good things to say

I was never treated with such disrespect by a doctor before. She comes in and tells me that she read I had marijuana in my system, according to my chart. I told her that because of a long term bronchial condition that I can't be exposed to ANY kind of smoke. After reading my chart with her, she apologized since she saw she was wrong. Still, she treated me with total disrespect for no reason at all and ignored what I said about a med not working for me, and prescribed more of the same. Terrible.

She is not friendly. Her staff is rude and unprofessional. I felt unwelcomed when i had my visit. That is all. Carry on.

I have been seeing this doctor since 2009. She had taken care of me through a very difficult pregnancy with kidney problems and so much more. She takes time to explain things and gives me choices. She is the best doctor I ever had!
