Terrible bedside manner. He might be better with adults, but he has no business dealing with children. It’s possible that he’s medically competent but he should not interact with patents. Very cold and insulting.
This doctor does not review his patients medical records prior to them coming in. For a specialist this is completely unorthodox and unprofessional. This smells of medical malpractice in the greatest way. He knew nothing of my son's past or current medical state. My son had his last of five surgeries at this wonderful Hospital. How can any reasonable person think that this doctor was acting in a reasonable manner when telling us that he does not review medical records of his patients prior to seeing them because he does not ... read more
Dr Cuffari is personable however his ability to fill out paperwork timely leaves a lot to be desired. My son, who receives the majority of his nutrition via feeding tube, went without his enteral supplies for a month because Dr Cuffari a) didn’t submit the paperwork and b) when I brought it to his attention he and his staff dragged their feet on providing the expedited paperwork. Their staff also ignored messages from myself and my son’s PCP to clarify his feed orders when they were changed.
Dr. Cuffari takes time to explain your medical information and details in a way that you can understand without being a medical professional yourself. Great with kids.
