Good food. Not so good service. Kari our waitress was about as friendly as a fly. We were up from downstate to see our son at Michigan Tech. Thought we would swing in and try the thimbleberry Margaritas we’ve heard so much about. They are indeed good! As were our fajitas. But crappy service always trumps good food. We won’t be back. Have talked with other parents from Tech stating the same issues with poor service.

Have been here many times over the years. Today the food was horrible. Some kinda creamy lime "hot sauce", weird tacos and dry chicken in the burrito. Maybe a new cook? Won't be back anytime soon as we come from the Detroit area and Carmelita's is no longer worth the trip.😔
