Excellent staff, beautiful setting and supportive instruction.
A wonderful place, period. The friendly family atmosphere, healthy food, great teachers, beautiful setting all make CVTC very special.
CVTC is a GREAT camp for tennis (the best) and social--our kids had a great time while there and learned a great deal about themselves as well as tennis. The counselors are stellar and the overall emphasis on skill development as well as sportsmanship is terrific!
Our kids absolutely loved CVTC. Our daughter went for four years and our son for three. Both came out of the program much stronger players, but they also loved their two weeks there, made good friends with whom they are still in touch, and had tons of fun. Steve, Susan, and Aimee manage to use a great deal of common sense to provide an updated but "old-fashioned", in the best way possible, camp experience. Kind and really well organized team! We were really impressed.
My daughter LOVES this camp. Started out at one week as a ten year old, and next year wanted to spend two weeks - and her birthday - there! They do a great job organizing the kids into groups with similar level players and offer them tons of court time with healthy but not high pressure competition. There is also a nice mix of other activities.
My sons have attended for three years and can't wait to return. When we cross the CVTC bridge, they say, "It feels like we're home." They return from camp bursting with happy stories, games, songs, dances, skits, and inside jokes. Our picky eater even asked if CVTC would write a cookbook. (They report that the tennis is challenging and fun, too.) The special alchemy that Steve, Susan, and Amy have created in their slice of heaven on Cachagua Road is simply magical. Thank you for giving our boys memories to last a lifetime.
The owners and staff at CVTC are wonderful, and the program has everything that we could hope for in a two week tennis camp. Our girls look forward to going back every year!
