Pro tip: Today they closed their computer down @12 minutes before closing. Make sure you call first and make sure all your meds are ready. They moved upstairs and are now on the second floor.

I placed a refill order for my son’s prescription on 4/29 and paid an additional $15 for two-day shipping. The pharmacy filled the prescription but never actually sent it out, and it has now been 10 days with no medication delivered. After calling on the 10th day, the receptionist went to speak with someone and then informed me that the prescription had been filled but, due to “a mix up,” it was still sitting in the queue waiting to be shipped. Called to fu on a rx and they told me they were waiting to hear from the prescribing dr but the Dr had confirmed w me all was set for a refill (had been a couple of hours). When I explained I had that communication w the Dr she then said ‘well maybe it just happened’ so I proceeded to explain the timing. She seemed annoyed and was so rude just telling me it takes time which I know, I was calling for an update since the med was to control a rather painful issue. Carmel Valley Pharmacy did not notify me that they are no longer taking insurance and did not notify me that they can no longer fill my prescription, leaving me without my medication. They offered me a cash price of 14x the insured price. I loved supporting a local pharmacy and recommended them to many but am unfortunately disappointed they left me without care.
