Was the BEST experience ever! I was very anxious about because I need to redo my ruth canal . All of the staff here were welcoming and friendly. They were able to work me into their busy schedule and fix my emergency in one day. I felt confident in his knowledge and expertise. My root canal done by my dentist went bad after 10 years. Infection. My dentist said it may not be savable. He recommended Torrey Pines Micro Endodontics (TPME). TPME said that there is no possible way to save the tooth. Extraction is the only option. I then went to Carmel Valley Endodontics (CVE) for a second opinion. Dr. K at CVE said there is an 80% chance they could fix it. I wanted to save the tooth, and with an 80% chance, I went ahead with a second root canal treatment from CVE. The Doctors care was excellent! fast, proficient and very kind. The only reason I give this review so low is because of his office staff. They were short and rude to begin with and rude when i left. I paid cash and card to take care of my bill in total. Then months and months later i receive a bill asking to even up my account. I called and left a message asking for further clarification, and instead of the staff calling to clear up the bill or even inform me what had happened on my account, they sent the bill immediately to... read more
Both me and my wife have been using Carmel Valley Endodontics for almost 10 years. We've probably had 7 or 8 procedures during this time between us as we're both in our later 60's, and quite frankly, tooth problems happen. Dr. Korbar, and staff, starting with Stacy the receptionist are all very friendly and excellent. Dr. Korbar is thorough, adept, and takes the time to explain everything while he's showing you the images he's taken of your problem tooth.
