It's part of Marriott's, so great right off the bat! Has a lovely waterfall by the main entrance which is very nice. Once you go inside you can see the entire layout of the casino, which I really like - all the slot machines are in a circular pattern, so you can walk the entire floor and not miss any machine you may be looking for. There cafe there has excellent food and great specials.
loved it!! – My fiance took me there for my birthday. It was our first time there, and the manager was so friendly! I had the scallops and he had the filet mignon.... best meal we've had in a long time!!! We will definitely go back!!
Best Dinner We've Had In Forever! – What an incredible evening at the Carmel Room! My husband and I felt like we had been coming to this restaurant for years even though it was our first time. Terry, the Manager, greeted us at the door as old friends and the excellent service just continued from there. My husbnad had the 3 course meal for $39. What a deal! Extroardinary service, food and ambiance. Over the years I have had many dinning experences in Vegas. The Carmel room never disapoints. They offer a great product at a very modest price. – The Carmel room is one of my favorite restaurants is visit while I am in Vegas. They offer great deals on Steak, masterfully done seafood, and the wine list is exceptional. During many of my visits, the chef personally came to our table for a personal visit. In one word..."WOW!!" The spinach salad was sensational, the filet was fabulous, and the creme brulee was to die for. Making this experience even more enjoyable and memorable was the most professional and courteous wait staff I've ever seen...seriously. I've been to Vegas a total of 7 times and have eaten at the Carmel Room during my last 4 visits. Great Atmosphere, Great Food! – Carmel Room is a high-class restaurant with a great atmosphere and menu. Wine selection was superb. Appetizers were amazing. I chose the dry aged porterhouse, and it was the best steak I've had in Vegas. Wait staff was friendly and never let my glass run dry. For desert, the souffles are to die for. Without a doubt, I'll visit Carmel Room every time I'm in Vegas.
Very Disappointing – This restaurnat is located in the J. W. Marriott which is attached to the Rampart Casino. The room is elegant with very good service, but the food was not up to par. We ordered a salad to share, but were told they would a $5 charge to split the order, but the waiter offered to bring a 2nd plate for free. The salad was very small for the price.
