This was the worst car buying experience ever. Two weeks ago I purchased a 2013 Altima, as they were pulling it around they said it was acting up and needed a battery. After sitting in the dealership waiting for it to be fixed, they kept saying it was something else wrong. They sent me home in a rental after 8 hours being in the dealership. They overprice their cars! Worst salesmen ever!
My boyfriend and I went to the Carmax in Merriville, IN. He fell in love with an 07 Mitsubishi Eclipse. We decided to purchase the car and head back to the suburbs of Chicago. When we got home the same day the service engine soon light came on. After considering what to do with the car we decided to take it to a local auto shop for a read on the light. Carmax Bumper to Bumper warranty is thru 3rd party. They make using the warranty next to impossible. Have not been happy with the way the situation is being handled. Will not be getting another vehicle from Carmax.
I literally just left there with my husband who is looking for an SUV. We went to the large touchscreen and then preceded outside. Not only did we get no help, we got no greeting. There were at least three salesmen outside who saw us walking around and said NOTHING. We bought our last car there and had great service. You let us walk away with great credit... shame on you
Me and brother walked around this location for about an hour. No one as much looked in our direction. We tried to seek out help but were ignored.
