Carmax is by far the worse dealership to buy a used vehicle from. Bought a vehicle with 40k miles on it. CarMax promises to do a 125 point inspection. They spent less that 20 minutes on the mechanical inspection of the vehicle. I have proof in the records they sent me. Bought it in February, put 4k miles on it since we've owned it. Its been in the shop 3 times in 6 months. Tried to drive a car and never got a chance. Came in, they said we needed appointment to test drive. So we left, but downloaded their app, booked appointment online for later in the day. We show up to appointment on time. They told us it would be at least 30-45 minutes of wait because everyone was on lunch break. In business you should try to make it easy for a customer to purchase your product, not difficult.
The car is excellent and like new. Customer service is very slow time to write up and close is way way to long. I spent 6.5 hours in this process. never in my life have I spent more then 2 hours buying a car after I selected it.
Jonathan is the best salesman we never had in the car shop. He was so friendly and nice. We drove from Bozeman to there. It was tired but he helps us to got my boyfriend new car. My boyfriend really likes his new car from them! Highly recommended!
