My wife went to sell our vehicle and it took Carmax longer than 20 minutes to inspect the vehicle. Finally, in a "rare situation no one has ever seen before" they couldn't find a sticker on one of the doors with the vehicle info on it because it was so worn but they needed it to process. I just wish Gregory cared! I felt like I was a bother and not like I mattered. I felt rushed, alone and my concerns were taken as a joke. I don’t think my car got the work done that he said they did. I’m just glad that the process is over so I don’t have to deal with him. My car is doing some weird stuff, Gregory just made excuses and just pushed any car on me to get me out the door. The buying process was simple. I got my trade valued and approved within an hour. My sales guy was super informative and very easy to work with-no haggling. The only gripe is the car was filthy when I took it home. The seats and every corner was covered in dust. They only washed the outside and quickly vacuumed the floor before I left. Called to reserve a vehicle for a 24 hour test drive, as I really wanted the time with the car to feel it out before making a purchase. Salesperson on the phone said she couldn’t make an appointment, but would reserve the vehicle for 24 hours, and said that I could stop by that day to get the 24 hour test drive. So I did. Not only did she not put my name anywhere in the system, but they did not let me have a test drive, as they “didn’t have any more 24 hour plates,” and 24 hour test drives are “first come first serve”.
