Shady landlords, very noisy building
We rented an apartment on the 4th floor during a winter I spent in Saskatoon. Operated by Boardwalk properties (whom I had rented from before), this was a very nice and well priced two bedroom. The building is not terribly new, but is well kept up in a fairly central location, a few blocks from 'downtown' and the river. Shared laundry facilities on each floor with a posted usage schedule. Lived here for 25 (!) years. Didn't want to buy because we were new to SK and had no idea about the realty market. Turns out the building suits us, and there has been no need to move. (Although we have changed suites a couple of times.) Great location, so you can walk everywhere. Nice view of the river. Not outrageously expensive.
