I switched to him after having a great experience in his CHF clinic. He listens, takes his time and makes you feel like his only patient. Always asks about my daughter.
I found the doctor to take his time with me and LISTEN to my needs and concerns. Very laid back and was interested in the both of us coming up with a treatment plan.
Dr Sotolongo saw me in the hospital.. for the first time. He was arrogant.. judgemental.. and condescending to me as a woman. I was very taken aback by his attitude towards me.. especially having never met me before & not knowing anything about my history! I would NEVER choose to go to this Doctor.. or recommend him!!!
Wish all my doctors were just like him. He has a busy office but takes the time to explain. Very thorough. A real doctor with a heart

I thought maybe on my first appt with him he was just having an “off” day because his bedside manner was deplorable. But today after my appt I realized my gut instinct was correct all along. He never makes eye contact, he is supremely dismissive, insulting, and lack of compassion and concern is staggering. I used to think that the more arrogant the doctor the better he was... not so. I transferred my records before I ever left his office.
He saved my life ! Excellent cardiologist with a heart. Brilliant. Attention to detail, focused and humane. Best physician bed side manner I have ever encountered. Highly recommend.
Dr. Sotolongo is a knowledgeable Cardiologist that listens to our concerns & truly wants to help others. He is very compassionate & thorough. We highly recommend him.
Worst manners ever. Never said one encouraging thing to my husband after getting a stent. Very unfriendly, arrogant acted as if we were a bother. No recommendations. As we left I commented "you seem to keep yourself in shape", he commented back " Yes I do, I don't want to wind up like him (gesturing toward my husband) in a few years. We will NEVER see this doctor again. He is a poor excuse of a doctor and a human being. He upset us both tremendously! Pam and George Mitrosky
