Working on a 5th shoulder surgery to fix how badly Dr. Guanche did 3 of those surgeries. STAY AWAY!!! Was an awful experience!! He did a few surgeries on my shoulder. After the 3rd one he blamed me for continuing. I have Grand Mal seizures and dislocate my shoulder in my sleep. I explained that and he didn't believe me. As I was working on setting up another surgery he came into my appt. with medical students. All he said was he doesn't take my insurance anymore with a big grin on his face. I have state Med-ical. Dr. Guanche is the greatest shoulder surgeon but I have doubts about his back office.
Had a total hip replacement. A year later I am 100 times worse than I was before I saw him. When something goes wrong he will abandon you. I regret ever seeing him.
This Dr left me permanently disabled. 5 hip surgeries in 1 year. Septic for 10 Months. All from a routine hip replacement. Femur broke 3 weeks post op. He could not fix his own mistakes!!! Left SCOI after my case. Stay away!!!!
