Wish they would tell the truth but I guess that’s what you get on a private dealer. Didn’t get fully checked out just someone to look at it and okay it was good to go and rip you off later after you sign!
I came in to see a car that I had seen listed online. Car seemed ok except for rear end damage that wasn't mentioned and wasn't on the Carfax. The owner assured me that the title was clean and the car had passed smog. I took it to a mechanic to get a prepurchase inspection. The mechanic scanned the ECU and it showed an oxygen sensor error.
