This hospital is fantastic . i came here for a medical emergency and was treated right away . such a clean hospital , i was not worried about catching anything on top of my condition . paramedics were quite worried when they arrived but the hospital got me stable for discharge . thank you so much for everything . i highly recommend this hospital
Watched people leave and a child waiting for what seems like about 6 hours. Last time I read a kid had to wait at a hospital, that kid died... Kids should always be a priority
The facility is exceptionally clean and modern. The photos shown here appear to be of the old emergency department. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and didn't have a chance to take updated pictures. The nurses and doctors were kind, professional, and highly skilled. At other hospitals, registration alone was taking over an hour. I was told the wait time was about 11 hours at CHEO with only one doctor on the night shift, and about 7 hours at Queensway with two doctors on duty. That's why I came here. Had to go to the ER 5 days post cesarean (June 20). Very disappointing that they would have a new addition funded, yet no consideration for accommodation for a nursing mother (nursing room, lactation room, a plain room with a chair, a general empty space away from the waiting room - anything). When I asked the doctor if there was a space to go express or nurse for my next visit, she shrugged and said “the bathroom? Parking lot?” which was delivered in a very dismissive manner.
