The place is peaceful, the staff are wonderful, and the nursing team is exceptionally kind and caring!
Went into emergency at 9pm with an asthma attack now its 12.30am and still in waiting room. No not even in a room yet. I think they could put me in a room with a mask. That's what they will end up doing... Note If you have an emergency DO NOT GO to Carleton Place Hospital
I don't understand the mediocre reviews for the Carleton Place Hospital. With my current condition I have visited the hospital 3 times in the last 2 days. Appointments and injections were done with little or no waiting. Wait times for the initial Doctor consult and test results have been up to 3 1/2 hrs. That is far less than wait times I have experienced in other hospitals in the area where I presented the same condition. I drove a family member to the hospital for a doctor's appointment on Sept. 9, 2026. The parking lot is quite small, yet the parking fee is OK at $5.00 per stay. One thing i had noticed is that you can not receive a receipt for parking at the hospital because you must pay cash. Very strange! The medical staff appeared to be very pleasant to speak with and courteous in the hospital 🏥. Our overall experience at the hospital was satisfying 😌 👌
