Horrible experisnce yoy can show uo to emerg mod morning not another soul in site and yet still have to wait 8 fing hours in emerg. DO NOT GOTO EMERG THEIR HORRIBLE
Worst hospital I have ever been to, do not go unless you are willing to wait for 4 hours with pneumonia then be told that they can't give you an estimated wait time. Never going back again save yourself and never go here. Almonte is faster and has better doctors.
Attended thw CPDMH emergency dept on the evening of the 8th December. The emergency dept was super busy but went through triage in an acceptable time. Dealt with triage nurse Michelle who was genuinely concerned and professional in her work. I also dealt with nurses Chris and Sarah who showed caring and compassion for my situation as did all nurses in emergency at that time. Just waited 3 hours with chest pain and still not seen, I ended up just leaving and crossing my fingers nothing bad happens. If I was a man, I would have been rushed in right away, but I guess being in the "very urgent" bracket as a woman drops you down to last in line.
