One of the pediatricians- blew off our concerns years ago, when we brought up our daughter was doing something weird with her eyes, was experiencing balance issues, and delayed walking. We got a second opinion, and they agreed something was wrong. The pediatrician refused to hear out our outsourcing. We switched pediatricians immediately- to a new facility. I would recommend some other facility. We got estimate of $350 to do ultrasound. Plain and simple, just a single thing. They billed $750. Nothing new was done. Same thing but charged more than double. Note that it's hospital charge. Nothing to do with insurance. Who is accountable? Never got an answer even after multiple calls.
I’d find another office. Front desk staff is extremely rude, Kim B. In particular. They have little to no respect or understanding for moms. Not to mention if you miss and/or need to reschedule an appointment. Appointments with Dr Kane are rushed and brief with little interaction and not personable. We finally moved practices after a year and things are MUCH better.
Dr. Kane told me I was corrupted by social media and didn’t care enough to protect MY child because I choose against vaccinating. I was told I was being dropped as a patient and would need to find somewhere else to be seen. Very disheartening that you can’t seem to make your own decisions for your child without being made feel like you’re a bad parent.
We adore Dr. Traeger. I would never transfer to another office. He partners with you as the parent, rather than simply telling you what to do. My only complaint is the front desk/phone staff. They are rarely friendly and always seem annoyed you are calling.
