Went in sat for chest pains. Nobody could figure out what was wrong. Even though I had been there for multiple occasions for the same reason. Other than X-rays. Or cat scans I was left in my room with the promise the doctor will be coming back to talk to me. The doctor never came back than they discharged me for “anxiety” called me back Monday with a proper diagnosis informing me this whole time I was battling an infection. And not anxiety. If you are really sick enough to go to ER don't go Carle you are not seen by a doctor only a NP or PA that really do not know enough and worse yet really do not care. It breaks my heart where healthcare in Peoria Illinois has gone. St Francis sure isn't better for sure you are just a # there. Too sad. She has stage 3 kidney disease and was given an old IV med for pain that I as a nurse knows is very hard on the kidneys. I questioned this choice and her history of kidney disease I was told by her nurse her chart does not show... read more
I had a heart ablation here after getting A-Fib and has been the worst experience of my life after the fact. Even during the process they essentially wrote me off as crazy until my heartrate went into the 220s. I have now been diagnosed with POTS which they told me after atleast 4 visits to the ER every time that it wasn't that and that it was all anxiety.
