Saw Dr Gamez for a serious foot injury in November. First visit: Dr. wouldn’t treat until MRI. Asked no questions about my health history or how injury occurred. Barely examined foot. Second visit: Dr. needed to see me again (same week) to document need for MRI. Observed I could hardly walk on my crutches, did nothing else. My experience was awful, she did not care about my feet all she care was to get an MRI and since i didnt want one she dismissed me, not even a pain killer.Do not go there.
Dr. Gamez started out with a minor procedure to solve the issue I was having and said we could move on to Plan B if this doesn't help. Very satisfied!
Take care of my kids very well and explain medical condition clearly and tell you how to prevent and care the pain to heal quickly. Thank you Dr. Carla Gamez for excellent experience from you...Highly recommended.
She really wasn't too concerned with what I had to say, but dismissed me. Two days later I had a second opinion...yep she full on missed the problem that was causing the pain. Maybe should take more time listening. The doctor for my second opinion, listened and was able to figure out the problem within minutes. Sometimes, medical conditions need more information, she clearly missed this.
She never showed up. I asked the lady at the counter where she was. She said told me Dr. Gamez was not there. I was her first afternoon appt. I waited 30 minutes and she was a no show. I walked out. I had a lesson at 2:15. Is it arrogance or stupidity? I wonder about her competence if she can't call and say she's going to be late. I know lunches and shopping can be very important. More important than patients? Not enuf spaces left to tell about the staff on the phone. Ask me.
