I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic. I went to see Dr. Carl while in severe pain, struggling with balance and even blacking out. During my initial visit, he didn’t review my report and told me he would look at it later and call me the next day. I never received a call back. I tried contacting his office several times with no response. When I went back in person, he didn’t seem to remember my situation, so I had to explain everything again. He is the first neurologist to actually listen and get to the root cause of my migraines. He's compassionate and actually cares about his patients.
I had neglected many things for a few years regarding my health. Sadly, things happened. However, that being said I r been building my care team to get my health issues up to par. Dr. Yacoub goes above and beyond leaving no stone unturned. All the while he's brilliant in addition to being kind and compassionate. I did not feel dismissed. I felt validity and hope. I recommend anyone with neurological issues to try him. You will not be sorry.
Don't believe these 5 star reviews. When you meet him he is very empathetic and seems to care about what is happening to your body. But then he leaves you hanging. I was in so much pain before my appointment and wound up in the ER. They gave me 2 days of pain medication. I saw him 2 days later. I still had 5 or 6 doses of pain meds so he didn't call any in.( I don't take the whole pain pill at once I take half at a time with ibuprofen in between.) Most amazing doctor ever. He is very caring. He listens, and allows you to tell him what you are experiencing. He makes you very comfortable. I chose him due to the recommendations I saw, and I’m glad I did. The receptionist is amazing as well. It’s an all around nice, calm place you wanna be. Very welcoming.
