*update 9/28/2020. This office has gained some redemption. I’m always understanding of life events we can’t control and new associates being hired, but a little humility and kindness goes a long way. I received an apology for how my situation went and ended up rescheduling. My original review was not in poor taste, merely to give some constructive criticism in how the office contacted their patients.*
I do recommend Dr. Carl, however I want to make sure my experience was heard. I absolutely love Dr. Jeffrey Carl, however have different opinions on the receptionist/insurance protocols. I had explained that I left my previous dental office because they failed me multiple times on verifying insurance, which is now why I was coming here. I have a health condition that allows me 4 cleanings a year on my insurance, but it is sort of a sticky situation sometimes. I explained that I just got dental insurance back on my plan. I went into my appointment, 10 minutes early and they did verify insurance - but only the fact that it said “termed.” I did not receive a phone call of an issue ahead of time. I completely wasted my time and theirs by having to leave and figure out why the insurance wasn’t working. All could’ve been resolved and everyone happy if they had just called, emailed, texted a bit ahead of time. I hope you change this policy for your patients in the future for customer service. Very disappointed.
