My After School Program and I volunteer with Caris as a Special Projects volunteers, and it has been a wonderful experience. My kiddos love making crafts for the hospice patients, and it’s something they genuinely look forward to each time. Caris and Kasey are great to work with and always make us feel valued. I look forward to continuing to help in any way I can!
They were a great group to work with I would highly recommend them.
If they could only deliver what they say it would be wonderful. They didn’t have aides that knew how to give showers, they were used to giving bed baths and wipe downs. My LO received 1 shower from an aide that was acceptable before they were taken off hospice. They wanted to use drugs of every kind to keep my loved one asleep and in bed. I can’t say enough good things about Caris Hospice. From our (siblings and myself) initial contact with Dana Hays, through our Moms last moments we were blessed to have caring and compassionate assistance. Dana SW, Steve RN, Cissy RN, Juliana HHA, the Threshold Singers and all the volunteers made Moms last months so much easier for her and us. Today is the one year anniversary of Mike’s passing. Thinking of the wonderful group of people who helped our family during a very difficult time.
