Today I sampled Angel Hair pasta with artichokes, fried calamari and a side ceasar salad. Having dined at Johnny Carinos across the country I expected it to be good but I didn’t expect to be so pleasantly surprised by this experience in Allen Park. The presentation of ALL the dishes was exemplary, temperature was perfect and the taste, SOOO good! The server was friendly but scattered, despite the restaurant being pretty empty. Food was mediocre at best, and the lasagna was flavorless. I really expected better considering the crazy high prices. Definitely will not be back.
The food is always awesome, I love the shrimp scampi, best Italian restaurant around.
Tonight we hosted our daughter’s 40th birthday 🎂 party 🎉 here & as ALWAYS, it was amazing 😉!! Thank you to Brian Hill who always goes above and beyond to make our evening special !! This is disappointing to write but I wanted to say something. My husband and I loved this place. It’s been a favorite for years until yesterday. We went for dinner and while the waitress was so sweet and the food was good other things kinda ruined our experience. The prices have gone up drastically. My soup used to be $1 and now it’s $4. We also only drank water and had 1 Appetizer with our meal and our bill was just shy of $50! For two people is insane. Was there last night on wine wed. The best! Half off on any bottle of wine you wanted. We ordered a moderately priced bottle and got for two of us almost 3 glasses each! It was the bomb! Of course the food was good and the sweet little waitress was great. But I'm going to be a regular on weds when I'm in town! ���
