I cannot speak highly enough about Carine's Atelier. I think the word "bespoke" is being used a lot lately to describe luxury experiences. Carine's Bridal is the epitome of a bespoke customer experience. At Carine's we felt celebrated, embraced, and unhurried. We were clearly in expert hands, yet it felt warm and family-like. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carine's and their alterations department! My Vera Wang wedding gown was two full sizes too big when it arrived, and they worked absolute magic. The team was meticulous, professional, and kind throughout the entire process. Every fitting felt personal and stress-free — they truly listened and made sure every detail was perfect. I'm torn. Because the stories below were our experience, but as for the dress itself, it was gorgeous. We live in Charlottesville, more than two hours from Georgetown. My fiancé wanted to get her dress there. Great. She found the dress. Even better. Then came the fittings... At her first fitting, she was told she must return on 10/8. She politely asked if 10/15 could work instead, as she worked 10/8 ( the day apparently has to be the same day of the week for some reason). I had visited a few wedding dress shops before finally arriving at Carine’s—and I’m so glad I did. I ended up finding both my rehearsal dinner dress and my wedding dress at their sample sale.
