Dr. Acharya is a real treasure! I was very nervous about getting work done on my gums in regards to gum recession and put it off for a while. Dr. Acharya, relieved years of dental phobia and has saved my teeth and gums after years of neglect. Wish I would have been recommended to her sooner.
Avoid Dr. White's clinic in Goode, VA. His staff are not reliable or knowledgeable. Dr. White's procedures performed on me were not orthodox. I had to seek other dental professionals to fix the damage he caused.
Dr. Acharya has the most empathy of any of the 4 perio’s I’ve seen over the past 20+ years. I fell that she genuinely cares about the patient. She takes time to explain and especially to LISTEN to her patients. She is also very gentle with the needle!
My primary dental doctor referred this place for deep cleaning. After exam I was told the procedure will be done in 2 visits and out of pocket cost for each visit is $126. After few months I received bill for $323 and called the insurance they told Doctor office should have advised me the total cost before the procedure should have done predetermination before the procedure. Thank you, Dr. Hunt, for all of your help with my recent procedure. Your entire office made me feel very comfortable and the visit wasn't as bad as I expected. I hope I don't have to come back soon but if I do, I will be back to see you and Dee Dee. You guys are the best.
I've only had one visit so far with Dr. Acharya, but I was impressed by her office and her knowledge and professionalism. Thankful to be her patient!
