The owner Romney Carey should not be a business owner. He is extremely rude and a bully. I asked that they call me before they do any service on my boat. They had my boat for 3.5 weeks and not once did I receive a phone call. I called them and asked about my boat and they told me that repairs were already done but I had not approved of this. we bought a brand new boat from them last year. We are being towed in by coast guard for the 2nd time. We took it back to them to fix and do minor things they originally agreed to do. it took them over 3 months to get the work done and they never even did all they were supposed to. second summer and the boat is stranded in the lake being towed back again. nothing but unresolved promises.
Great customer service and Knowledge
I just purchased a new boat from Carey and Sons Marine. Between meeting them at the boat show, corresponding through multiple emails and phone conversations, then meeting them at their store to finalize the purchase, I had the opportunity to interact with multiple people. Everyone I worked with came across as knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Overall I couldn’t ask for a better experience and look forward to doing business with them again in the future.
