By far the worst place for counseling. My therapist didn’t do anything to help me. I went for years for PTSD and MDD and I feel the same as I did when I first started. My therapist was more worried about looking at her computer and making future appointments than to help me. Don’t go here!
They didn’t even bother to return my call for scheduling appointment. I had been going there for years and they just completely abandoned me. But I found another place that actually does care about their patients.
I understand Carey has gone through a LOT of changes over the years, and Certainly for the better! I've struggled with mental health since childhood, no amount of medications seemed to work. Suddenly, after 13 YEARS of different hospitals, different doctors and therapists, Carey Counseling was able to help with Proper diagnosis and treatment. Called Paris office somewhat helpful, called 800 number and the lady answering straight out lied about the services offered and was extremely rude. Who does the hiring at this place? I would not take myself or a loved one to this type of surroundings. Can you imagine what is said and done behind closed doors if they are this brazen and incompetent over the phone. I pray for all the individual's seeking assistance in this town.
