I work for another staffing agency but wanted to also work for this company to finish out my career as I’m 58 but still a very hard worker. The HR lady called me but gave me a hard time just because I had a 3 month gap in work history to care for my husband who had cancer. She never asked how he was now or showed any empathy at all she just said she would email me for 1 more reference. It took over a month for me to get that email. So the day staff they have and their hiring manager is nice and will tell you that you can have ANY of your reference call at any time of day. Even after hours as long as they know your first and last name for the reference. Well today I had 3 of my references call when they got off work. One was around 4pm and made it through. The other two were after 6 pm and the lady that was working the phone sat there and said, “ Oh this is night shift we don’t do reference calls.
