Horrible. I was charged in full at the time of visit. Before clam could be processed my deductible was meet by other claims which mean I only owed them 20% coinsurance. They acknowledge that I am do a refund and that they got payment from insurance but refuse to refund my money despite numerous calls over a 3 month period of telling me I would have it in 7-10 days each time they say it’s still in process. Never a manager available to talk to. They’re literally holding my $148 hostage.
If they tell you there is an issue with your insurance, just turn and walk out. They kindly suggest paying an out of pocket portion to see the are provider, but not to worry because they will just re-run the insurance and send you the refund. I booked an appointment and when I got there they said the front desk person didn’t make the appointment and they want me to wait about 3 hours to been seen. I couldn’t believe it.
Worst billing department. I've called numerous times to get my bill taken care of that should have been submitted to my insurance company. Carespot was given my insurance information when I was seen as a patient. Insurance information was never submitted. When I received a bill . I called to give carespot my insurance information again. I was told to call insurance company and submit it myself. I'm baffled because isn't that the billing departments job ? I'm never ever visiting Carespot in the future. Place is so unprofessional and slow. No human respect. Place keeps getting worse and worse. Lazy medical staff .. looks like rolled out of bed. No hustle
