I had a great experience here at Urgent and Family Care. Let me first share what happened with me- its an long review so please bear with me. We first went to other urgent Care and we had to come here when the first one did not want to work with us but I am glad we came here and it is going to be our urgent care going forward. I went to see the Doctor at CareNow and he was professional and checked me out and if I was still hurting after doing the exercises/stretching to come back. I did and he sent me to a physical therapist. I was in a car accident and had lower back & neck pain.

Dr insisted on changing medication for blood pressure which had worked well for years. According to the pharmacist, my dose was eight times too high to begin with, but when I called care now, they kept blowing me off. Luckily I was able to check my blood pressure, recognized the problem and was persistent. They could have caused irreparable harm to an older, sicker patient. As a health care professional, I was appalled.

Went got my xray and checkup. Have United .paid the Copay .signed agreement and ask if any additional. Don't remember what staff said, always make sure it is covered. I guess after a few weeks there is a balance of $43. They emailed me. Didn't bother opening it. Yesterday 11.10.14 they auto charge to my bank account without approval.Called and got transferred around. They said I signed something that I will be charge. I also have a billing issue with their Urgent Care facility on Barker Cypress. I was billed over $600 for a 10 minute routine examination and was told that the rate was only high because that is what my insurance company agreed to. They acknowledged that the walk-in rate (no insurance) could have been (much) lower. I have attempted to protest the bill several times and they have zero interest in resolving. Hopefully I can help someone else.

Myself nor any of my family members will be back to this place. The customer service is horrible. They would sooner answer the phone than deal with a patient face to face. They are extreme mil slow and they misdiagnose. I wouldn't take my dog to this place. Better off waiting till Monday and go to your family doctor

I'm not from Texas but there are a lot of these pop up doctors offices and medical chains that are for profit and there is nothing wrong with that but these people are so money hungry its ridiculous. First off you've got to have either the money or insurance or they won't see you at all. Second the doctor suggested I get the arm and hand braces for my carpal tunnel and the doctors office charged me $75 for each one. I later went to Walmart and saw the same exact braces for $15.00 for BOTH OF THEM TOGETHER!!! I overpaid $135.... read more

Not sure why people only want to write bad reviews for places. I had a great experience at this location actually better than the Care Now that's closer to my home. Dr Hester was on the money for getting my daughter what she needed for the flu and bronchitis.
