Awesome food and great atmosphere!
We had a reservation and they seated us rather quickly upon our arrival so we thought it was going to be an indication of a great experience. Unfortunately this was not the case. Our server gave the vibe that he was in a rush and we should be, too. It was really unfortunate because we were there to really enjoy the great food experience. Instead it gave us the opposite. Great staff and the food was terrific. A day later still thinking our great it was!
Service was incredibly slow and our server had an attitude. From the time we ordered until the time we got our dinner was over an hour. OVER AN HOUR! Additionally, some of the food (the chicken parmesan) was tough. Every time we brought some issue gently to the server, she would roll her eyes at us. And we are a pretty easy bunch to serve, most of us having been in the restaurant biz. On the upside, the salads were good, and the pizza (which I ate because my entrée was uneatable), was delicious.
Great food, great ambiance, great service! The pollo Saltimbocca is amazing, will certainly be returning.
OK.....aside from being the best Italian Restaurant ever.....write this down.....BEST FREAKING HAMBURGER IN THE CITY !!!!! Seriously. Just order one. I know...it's an Italian restaurant.......just order the burger. BEST.
