Hands down the best Italian restaurant in Colorado. The food is wonderful. The staff is great. Cocktails are awesome. Must try the Riviera! Reservations are recommended for a dinner, because it's busy, and people know it is. From the clams con carn to the chicken picata, its delicious.
Excruciating long wait for service. Food came but bread never did. Food was not very warm but we were hungry so we ate it. Our server was great though.
A visit to Boulder is not complete without dinner at Carelli’s!
Single worst meal experience I have had in years. The bread, which only took 30 seconds to heat up, and which should have arrived first, arrived after I had completed the rest of the meal. Then the server brought back my credit card indicating their credit card service was down, and asked for another form of payment because he did not know how to fill out the paper credit card forms that were there. My all favorite Italian restaurant in Boulder! Sometimes the staff is not as friendly as I expect, but the food is amazing.
