My husband recently had 19 days of hospice care with this company. While there were some very good direct nursing/home health staff experiences, their medical director, Mohana Kulkarni, M.D. made an initial medical error and refused to stand accountable for it or agree to be collaborative with our private physician, so it could quickly be resolved. Care Choice hospice has amazing dedicated nurses and office staff. My 98 year old father is a patient. When my dad was in pain and dehydrated, the office got a nurse here in 20 min. on a weekend .The nurse stayed untell dad was willing to eat and drink enough so that he could be given pain meds. They shower and shave 2 times a week. Also have volunteers that call to talk to my father as well as send him notes. I am so glad we were referred to this company, and recommend them highly
The employees are great , very compassionate, from the nurses to the shower aids. As my dad's full time caretaker, they certainly took away a lot of stress from me. I would give the employees 5 stars. But during Covid, an employee contracted covid. The administrator had a new aid contact us , saying our aid was on vacation and could someone else come by. It wasn't till the following day that we received a call saying our normal aid had covid. Then when I asked when they would come to test my father and I, I was told since th... read more
I have nothing but love and respect for the kind, compassionate people employed here. My Mom worked here for several years; sadly she passed away January 26th due to bone metastasis from lung cancer and many of the nurses and aides who trained under her were there to provide love and support for her during her final days, as well as emotional support for my brother and I.
