NP Katende Burton FNC-P seems to be bias against African Americans . If you’re looking for a provider who cares more about his patients than money. I would advise you to run as fast as you can! On the other hand the office staff was great ! I will be filing a grievance with Anthem regarding the experience I had today. Moreover, how can a so-called doctor let a 65 year old dizzy a weak woman walk out of his office . The least he could have down was offered to call a rescue squad or checked her blood pressure. YULK!
Had to go to urgent care and I found this facility, so glad I did Dr. Burnson was caring, professional and friendly more importantly he listened and didn't rush me. I highly recommend!!
This place is a complete scam and I’m beyond angry. They forced me to sign paperwork making them my primary care provider (PCP) or they wouldn’t even see me. Dr. Katende personally told me I had nothing to worry about because my insurance — Health Plan of Nevada — has a $0 copay for primary care visits. That’s the only reason I agreed. I’ve only been there two times, and both times, I told them at check-in that I have a $0 copay — they checked and said “okay, no problem.” No charges upfront. Dr. Bertson Katende is wonderful! He has amazing bedside manner and takes time to answer all your questions. I have been to many doctors over the years and he by far exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be back. Thank you
