I really love this clinic and the staff. I've been a patient for over a year at this point and things usually run pretty smoothly. I'd like to give a shout out to Dr. Pickstone, though. My first couple of visits with him were a little awkward but this doctor changed my life for the better. The billing issues can be stressful. I spent a lot of time (this is a mild exaggeration, it was just more emails than I have motivation for) with the billing team explaining that I don't have a deductible, only a copay and there were a couple of times they charged an authorization hold of over 200 dollars for a 25 dollar visit. It was released and now they're switching the billing to be paid directly with Alma so hopefully it charges the copay and not another 200+ auth hold. I have lots of trouble pulling myself out of depression episodes so it's nice that i can just give them a call whenever i need professional help.
There's still a lot of stigma around psych evaluations among my peers so i'm so thankful that the care clinic works very discretely and pofessionally.
My anxiety has never been more under control. Thanks much, care clinic!
