Stay away from this place! – I would not even give this place one star! My husband was there after heart surgery withh complications. After he was there for about a week I noticed blood in his catheter bag. The CNA said it was because of hepatitis; when I spoke to the doctor he concurred. The next day my husband was rushed to ER with a raging urinary tract infection that nearly killed him. So much for hepatitis. Avoid at all costs – My dad was admitted to this place. He had fallen and the resulting mental confusion made him weak and unable to walk. My mom and I had reservations after reading the reviews of this place. However, everything seemed okay at first -- the nurses seemed more readily available than at Tice Manor Care (where he'd been previously after back surgery) and appropriately caring. It was a short stay. – My Mother was admitted to this facility on a Saturday morning. My Father and I met her there. The Admissions Cooridnator had her act together, and after that everything fell apart. The nurses couldnt talk to us for more than 3 mins at a time with out having to rush off to do something else. Paperwork that we asked for repeatadly took over 45 mins to get to us, some of it didnt get to us at all. The Truth. – Let the truth be told. The unit manager for the subacute department is running the department into the ground. However, it's not only her fault.The administrator has helped out with all these cut backs. There have been equiptment cuts and staff cuts directly in the subacute department..In addition to the staff cuts, the amount of patients have increased.The staff is running around raggedly trying to keep up with the workload. Poor Management, Lack of Concern – Associated with Kaiser medical, this is a very poorly run facility, My father in law was transfered to this facility by Kaiser following an auto accident. The staff appears to be well meaning, and the Social Workers appear to really care. However, the Case Managers are bunglers, often contacting us with questions that show they have not bothered to read any of the patients charts, often asking questions we'd answered multiple times before and often failing to write down accurate information... read more

Nursing Home REFUSES to provide minimum care to my father: – After writing countless letters to the administration at the Care Center of Rossmoor (CCR), they refuse to provide the minimum care for my 84-year old father who has Alzheimer’s. Because of their negligence, my father was hospitalized as a result of SEVERE dehydration. He almost died! My young daughter found him on Sunday, June 13th slumped to the side in his wheelchair. They are under staffed in nursing and rehab! – They admit anyone that is comatose and confused so they don't notice the lack of call in sick and missing staff!
