Dr. Umoren is just not good at his job. I went to him after being diagnosed with ADHD and depression. Right off the bat he told me he wouldn't treat me for ADHD. In fact, he actually yelled at me, "YOU DON'T HAVE ADHD!" He prescribed me something for depression, but it was $100 and he told me that I had to pay that price because there was no generic available. There was, and it was $75 cheaper. I would not recommend this practice or provider. Dr. Umoren greatly lacks professionalism, routine practice etiquette, and communication skills in general. I was shocked that a provider at the doctorate level would conduct themselves in the manner in which he did. I drove over an hour and forty minutes to get to this appointment, only to be met by this individual who already seemed to have made up their mind about me based on his frank and irritated disposition. i was told not to come here and go to Dr. Musgrove. however i emailed care bridge anyway and noone got back with me. So i then called them and noone answered so i hung up. however right after i hung up i received a text message saying " thanks for calling. can i help you with a text instead?" at that point i responded and said no, i prefer to speak with someone over the phone and since noone wants to answer said phone, i will take it that yall dont want my money, therefore i will go ahead and call Dr. Musgrove. Honestly, when I visited this mental health practice, I wasn't really sure about what I was going to get. Especially with having to change doctors because of my new insurance. I must say, I have been very impressed and I come all the way from Killeen. Dr. Umoren is so gentle, attentive and kind and makes sure I never run out of my meds so I don't relapse.
