A great dining experience in Westerville! In a strip mall that has seen better days, there lies a jewel in Westerville! Very warm, comfortable and delicious I wasn't expecting such quality food first time I visited. I was surprised to find a very warm and comfortable interior, food that is just short of world class, and a very engaging staff who made the experience a fun adventure. To cap it off, they charge far less than the value you receive. A great restaurant.

Worst Service EVER! This was our first visit to Cardones. I don't even know where to begin. First of all, when we walked in, there was nobody to greet us. There was a girl that kind of pointed to a table. The same girl happened to be our waitress, but throughout the whole night she never even introduced herself or let us know she was going to be our waitress. we will definitely return again and again We are fans of places like Figlio and Brio and loved Cardone's! The prices were very reasonable and the food fresh. The portabella mushroom appetizer was amazing - my husband does not usually care for mushrooms and loved it. The bread was hot and fresh and the olive oil had a great flavor. The tomato/mozzarella salad was fresh and one of the best I have had. My husband's chicken parmesan was just ok but the portion was large.
Inedable eggplant lunch Spontaneously had Tuesday lunch with wife and daughter for the first time at Cardones. While the salad was good, the hot eggplant appetizer was undercooked and bitter. The red sauce could not mask the poorly prepared meal. Later in the day I telephoned and spoke with Daniel Wade, proprietor, of our unsatisfying experience. Great food in Westerville Finally a good restaurant in Westerville. After a terrible meal at Uptown Market the week before, I was ready to be disgusted by another Westerville restaurant, but found a place that I will return to.
EXCELLENT Great new restaurant. Food was very impressive and I think under-priced. (Yea really!). The owner Dan, and the Cheff Gina bot h came to meet us. Very cozy, and comfortable. Food was fantastic. 5 Stars.
