RecommendedI have been treated by Dr. Shaik for the last 4 years for a-fib. He is an outstanding physician and his knowledge and expertise have kept me out of a-fib for the last 18 months. I've been going to Dr Barrett for at least 18 yrs. I now live in sorrento and make the trip to Kissimmee to see him. I like going to Dr. Barrett. He has been there when I needed him. I would give him and the Assoc 5 stars.
At the age of 44, my husband was told by a well respected cardiologist in Orlando, that he would not live anymore than 2 - 3 years at the most...Shortly afterwards, we found Dr. Patrick Mathais. Dr. Mathais was a Godsend, and because of his concern and care, my husband lived to the age of 71...If you are unhappy with phone issues, talk to the office manager. It most certainly has nothing to do with the care you receive from the doctors within this group...
The good rating is because I think the staff is competent. If I could give a rating to just the office itself, it would be no stars. It is impossible to contact a living person to talk to. Leaving messages and hearing that the call will be returned within the business day is a joke - I have recently left messages on three different days and still have not heard back from them. If I could find a different competent cardiologist somewhere near my home that my husband's insurance would cover, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
