The staff were very nice and very helpful. I ended up staying an extra day because staff didn't pay attention to orders. a few mishaps during my stay. i had to double check everything myself. kind of chaotic but again staff was very nice and attentive. need to pay attention to details though as one mistake could be fatal.
Was treated superbly by the staff on Grant 8 but like common trash by the over night security..... had to sit outside in the cold with my new diagnosed type one diabetic 12 yr old because if you're not a patient or visiting one you're loitering when we had just left the ER and wanted to go to the cafeteria and get some food for my son. Had to sit on a cold marble bench to give him his insulin..... Unacceptable!!!!!
I have a sever head illness that causes fluid and pressure it build up in my brain I've had this for 5yrs now and am waiting to be sent to a Neurosurgeon to have a shunt put in. I've been seen in your ER a lot lately 3 times so far in the past month because the head pain has become unbearable! I've had a couple long waits, waiting for a room in the ER to open up but everyone has been so great and understanding of my frustration with with illness and the pain. Our dad was there for 32 days after having an emergency double bypass. Everyone we came in contact with was wonderful. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating to our family. We could not have asked for any better care for daddy!
My mom had lung surgery due to lung cancer. Her doctor did an excellent job! But as for the hospital itself they aren't very good! We were told we could go in 2 at a time to see my mom cause of our big family and they wouldn't let us. They only let one go in and it was every hour! That's just wrong! People are very concerned for their family member and would like to see them. They have stupid rules! Besides the her surgery got over about 315 and she never got put into her regular room until 10ish tht night! What a day!
The nurses were so nice I didn't want to go home!
