Besides being the only person in the ER waiting room and waiting a hour and a half to be seen, the docs found the issue with my knee in less then a hour.
The nurses, doctors, & CNA were friendly. They made time to help a visitor (me). I cannot forget the Minister who sat w/Theresa before I got there. Need a room close by, River View is connected to hospital.they charge a low rate.
everyone was great in out patients yesterday. kept usbupdated with what was going on with our son.
While sitting for hours in a busy ED we did get the care needed not the out come I had hoped but I'm confident in the judgement of the professionals we did deal with..the only complaint i have and suggestion I would give is...after Dr's had seen us and we decided on a plan of care we sat for close to 3 hrs waiting for discharge papers... other patients in need could have been in the room and treatment at least started had they been quicker..our Dr was pulled off to an emergency and unable to sign off on our discharge so more... read more
I wanted to thank all the nurse's and especially head nurse name Erica that worked on the 6th floor. I really appreciated all the people who helped my grandfather Thomas Vasko with his stay at emmc. The people there were so supportive in helping his grandchildren getting him transfered back to Houlton to spend what little time he had left to live. All he wanted to be was back home in town of Houlton with his family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for him. He at peace in heaven now.
My 12 year old son had to go to the OR for surgery to repair his broken finger. They ended up putting in a metal rod/pin. RN Wendy was his nurse and was excellent. Her assessment skills are spot on. My sons pain was addressed quickly. I also observed her working with the doctor and the other RNs, she is a team player. His doctor was excellent also. Positive experience.
Connie In The Husson office is the worst person in the world! Rude to talk to and doesn't give two shits about customer service!
Went into the ER yesterday with kidney stones. The wait, about 2 hours, was very hard since I was in so much pain. Once I was finally in the ladies took great care of me. I had a great student nurse in Haley Bickford, she was very helpful and helped explain things to me. Still sore today but feeling much better, thanks to everyone in the ED department.
