Company needs to be investigated for security breaches. They use a system for all of their calls & texts and it is all recorded and stored without customers consent. Customers personal details & bank card details given over the phone are recorded and stored, giving hackers access to this..
Unfortunately Car Connect has gone into voluntary liquidation as of the afternoon of 26th February 2026. I have filled my paperwork with the Administrators, now to see if I get any or all of my $35,000 back. 🥲
I'm gonna edit my positive review. These guys have taken me through a wave of emotions. I've gotten calls from the dealership telling me that they will repossess the car because carconnect has not paid them. However, my finance guy has stated they cannot reclaim the car. I'm just grateful the car was released to me before the cash was given to the dealership. Else my deposit and finance would've gone to vain. Do not trust these people. They aren't even returning my calls
Save yourself the grief, go straight to a dealer, this company has some serious financial problems. Ive been a customer for years and have brought several company and personal vehicles through CarConnect all without issue - but that has changed significantly. CarConnect is holding our money and not passing it onto the dealership. The dealership will not process our order for our car as CarConnect is on stop credit with them.
