I've been a customer of Carbon Compost's for about 4 years now, and highly recommend them! Louis and the team are punctual, excellent communicators, and passionate about the environment and community. They have often gone above and beyond with things like reminder texts, dropping off a new bin closer to my door than I left it, providing extra compostable bin liners, helping out if I forgot to put the bin out, still picking up my bin when my credit card declined, etc), and have always been kind and understanding

We're loving the service so far! The team goes above and beyond with responsiveness to texts/questions, and they're super attentive to punctuality + sending reminders of pickup the night before.

I gotta let the people know Carbon Compost is top-tier & I’m really glad it exists in Pittsburgh! I never composted before to be honest, but when I reached out to the owner Louis he was really informative & kind and took the time to answer all of my questions about getting started. His passion for sustainability is obvious and honestly it was inspiring. They have made composting so easy, especially for super busy people/those of us in the Burgh without a yard. I've never seen a more passionate team when it comes to compost. From the moment I came to Pittsburgh, I knew I could trust this company with my compost. The owner, Lou, is very knowledgeable about the topic. An inspiration. The pittsburgh community is lucky to have this team.

They make composting extremely easy! Very practical, especially if you don’t have a backyard.
