Our daughter attended Caravel for two years. The Shakopee Caravel director and staff were well trained. They had extensive knowledge and skills. Our daughter’s negative and problematic behavior decreased, communication and language skills increased, and her daily living skills improved. It was not babysitting or daycare but solid instructional time for our child to learn skills. Honest areas for improvement include lack of staffing some days and lack of follow through after therapy sessions.
We were one of the first families to have our son attend this autism center when they first opened so we didn't have to be put on a waiting list. It was something new to us and one of the best parts about it was it was close to home. Our son went here full time for 2 years. They made sure to match the correct ABA therapists.
