great place! James and Roger are very honest people that do amazing work. if you are upfront with them they will do all they can to work within a reasonable budget to get your car fixed. I didnt think good and HONEST mechanics still existed in this world but you can find them there!!!

My car is 17 years old and James and his team have been taking care of it for at least 10 years. From oil changes to emergency leaks, he's fair and efficient. He always gives me good, thorough estimates and walks through my options for helping my car make it to 20. I appreciate his responsiveness and authenticity - this team is good at their job and it shows.
James is polite, personable, honest and always easy to deal with. He has consistently gone the extra mile to help me out and provide superior service. As a Bloomington resident I definitely have closer options for mechanical work but I choose to deal only with James at Golden Valley Car-X.
James is the best. Good honest mechanics, which is rare these days.
