Paid for $22 wash, and the truck was still very dirty when it came out. The folks working were super nice, and when I explained what happened, they let me run it through again. It was only slightly cleaner the after the second run. I don't know why their car wash is not good, it seemed to do better as a take 5? I don't know what they've changed, but it is not very good at cleaning the car. They get 2 stars only because the staff is awesome, and the interior cleaning supplies. I've been pretty patient with these guys. With what started as a subscription for carwashes has quickly developed into what feels like a scam. I was met at the kiosk by a man with a tablet who set me up for an account based on my license plate and told me that the gate would open when my license plate pulled up. After about three times of trying to use the car wash they had to meet me outside each time and open the gate saying that my license plate was not in the system. Take 5 Carwash/Tsunami Express Carwash have ZERO STARS in my book. I have two car memberships for this car wash place (both of which I responsibly paid for in full, for a full year, at the time of signing up, like a responsible person). Take 5 Carwash recently sold their Carwash business to Tsunami Express Carwash (I believe it’s happened within the last couple of months) and it’s been a NIGHTMARE ever since they did that business sale. Wish I hadn't bought a membership, this car wash NEVER gets my car clean, I ALWAYS have to get out and scrub off what it missed, which is ALOT.
Tsunami Express bought Take 5. The employees are no longer allowed to wash bumpers and windows with a brush. Instead, three kids were standing around at the entrance today. Went through, and of course, bugs, etc. were still all over my front end... If I have to wash it myself, why pay? Also, the right-side brush stopped working a while back. We informed the employees.
